China: Stop the Crackdown on Uyghurs
China has vowed to “severely punish” those responsible for the unrest in Urumchi in Chinese-occupied East Turkestan (what China calls Xinjiang). This will result in a massive military crackdown on the Uyghurs, similar to China’s response to the March 2008 Uprising in Tibet.
